Storyline : We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s case, by shouting out one word – SHAZAM! – this streetwise fourteen-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult superhero Shazam.My family was excited to see this movie, but i am glad i left my kids at home. This is not a family movie!! The board room scene was horrible as you watch monsters tear off peoples heads and throw their bodies out of windows in high rises. The santa claus character was not funny but was placed in poor taste as he threw kids in the line of fire from the monsters and at the end the bleeping out of satas mouth was not funny but it was un called for! (I dont understand why people would even find that funny! I was embarrased to be around the very few people in a full theater who actually laughed at that! After people walked out, a lot of people commented on how that was in bad taste. ) beyond those 2 things....the movie was funny! It had a good storyline, and was fun to watch. If they took out some of the horrible gory parts and took bad taste santa out. It would of been even better. There was a lot of language, but that was better than what they did with it. My kids will not be watching it until they are older. Its sad that dc pushed the envelope too far on those few occasions to allow some children to enjoy it. And for me and my friends to ever own it. Sorry dc. You blew this one for me. And now i have to be more cautious about your movies. If this continues, you will lose more fans.
